Community Grants Advisory

The purpose of the Community Grants Advisory Committee is to make recommendations:

  • Relating to the setting of community grant policies in the City of Woodstock
  • Relating to grants being allocated by city council.

Applying for grants

Grants are available to volunteer organizations that are non-profit or charitable. Non-profit organizations may also apply on behalf of individuals or teams as long as the intended use of the grant is for recreational endeavours and the individuals are under 18 years of age.

If you believe you are eligible for a community grant, complete an application and submit it to the clerk's department. Applications are accepted twice per year. The submission deadlines are March 1 and September 1 (or the Monday following if the date does not fall on a business day). Funding requests that are urgent in nature may be considered outside of the formal intake periods if approved by the chairperson and city staff.

Committee meetings are held at Woodstock City Hall. The committee meets on an as needed bases at least once per year.
