Our bylaws are designed to keep our community safe and enjoyable for everyone. Bylaws are created as a way to address issues and concerns of our community. They are created to protect the environment, public health, safety and to maintain friendly neighbourhoods for everyone.
Calling in a Concern or Complaints
Our bylaw enforcement officers will investigate alleged violation complaints received from the public. Whether you call our bylaw line directly at 519-539-2382 ext. 3160 or you email the Bylaw Department, in order to investigate your concerns/complaints properly, you are required to provide us with the following information:
- Your first and last name,
- Your address,
- Your phone number, and
- The address of where the issue is taking place. (If it is for a vacant lot, please give a detailed description of it's location).
Please note, anonymous complaints or complaints with only partial information will not be investigated. Your information will be kept confidential.
