Welcome from the Mayor

Welcome to the Friendly City. Everyone talks about what they can do to help business, industry and families relocate to a municipality, but in Woodstock actions speak louder than words. Our staff is ready willing and able to step up and assist.

Woodstock is at the crossroads of two major 400 series highways, approximately 2 hours away from six border crossings and is served by two major rail lines.

Woodstock has the schools, parks and other amenities to welcome any family, and with our current real estate market owning a home is within reach, a dream that is not possible in many municipalities. We have a campus of Fanshawe College in town and are in negotiations to bring a francophone university campus to the city. Our population is well educated, skilled, ready, willing and able to work. Our downtown is warm and welcoming, maintaining a small town feel in an urban setting. Our range of restaurants means global gastronomic choices for every palette.

Woodstock has serviced lands ready for construction, and other lands that could be serviced quickly. Major corporations such as Toyota and Sysco have found their home in Woodstock. It should be home to your business as well.

When it comes to choosing where to relocate your business or family, perform your due diligence, but in all honesty, once you visit Woodstock it will not be necessary, because the Friendly City has everything you need and want.

Check out our website and then come visit us personally. You won't want to leave!
