Fire Services Advisory Committee

The purpose of the Fire Services Advisory Committee is to provide direct citizen input on the Fire Service budget, strategic direction and priorities of Fire Department in the City.

If you have an issue or concern, contact us. We will respond within 7 days of receiving your concern.


Members of the committee remain on the committee for the duration of the council term of office December 1, 2014 - November 30, 2018.

Committee meetings are held at the Parkinson Road Fire Hall. The committee meets at least twice per year at a regular date and time mutually agreed upon by a majority of the members.

Applying for a Board or Committee Position

City of Woodstock residents can make a difference in the community by becoming a volunteer member of a Board or Committee.  Advisory Board and Committee members provide information to City Council, which contributes to the development of policies, programs and initiatives. Your expertise, enthusiasm and pride can make all the difference.

  • Notices are placed on the City Website or in the What's on Woodstock magazine when positions become available. 

Current Opportunities

 We are currently accepting applicaitons for all boards and committees.  The new term will commence December 1, 2018 and expire on November 30, 2022.
