Environment Advisory
Purpose
The purpose of the Environment Advisory Committee is to make recommendations:
- Relating to the setting of objectives and policies in connection with environmental matters
- Relating to the status of programs and their relationship to community needs
- Relating to capital projects
- Relating to the education of the community on environmental matters
- To increase public awareness and understanding of environmental matters

Members of the committee remain on the committee for the duration of the current council term of office.

Meetings
Committee meetings are held at Woodstock City Hall, Committee Room A (Main Floor). The committee meets the third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Please contact the staff representative listed at the bottom of this page or the Council representative to confirm dates and receive additional information.
Applying for a Board or Committee Position
City of Woodstock residents can make a difference in the community by becoming a volunteer member of a Board or Committee. Advisory Board and Committee members provide information to City Council, which contributes to the development of policies, programs and initiatives. Your expertise, enthusiasm and pride can make all the difference.
