Environment Advisory

Purpose

The purpose of the Environment Advisory Committee is to make recommendations:

  • Relating to the setting of objectives and policies in connection with environmental matters
  • Relating to the status of programs and their relationship to community needs
  • Relating to capital projects
  • Relating to the education of the community on environmental matters
  • To increase public awareness and understanding of environmental matters

Members

The Environment Advisory Committee is made up of the following Citizen, Council and Staff representatives. Members of the committee remain on the committee for the duration of the current Council term of office.

Meetings

Committee meetings are held at Woodstock City Hall, Committee Room A (Main Floor). The committee meets the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Please contact the staff representative or the Council representative to confirm dates and receive additional information.
