Bylaw Enforcement
Our Bylaw Enforcement Officers are responsible for ensuring that all of our bylaws are being adhered to and investigating complaints appropriately. Currently, we have only two bylaw officers on staff. One officer looks after all concerns north of Dundas Street, while the other officer looks after all concerns south of Dundas Street. Their objective is:
- To increase public awareness of the City of Woodstock bylaws that presently exist in neighbourhoods
- Facilitate residents to become more familiar with their responsibilities and rights as property owners or tenants
- Achieve compliance with the City of Woodstock bylaws through education in order to preserve the quality of community living
