Woodstock – Council had a brief agenda for Thursday’s meeting, with the meeting wrapping up in just over one hour.
Road Reconstruction Tenders Work is already underway planning this summer’s construction projects. Council approved the tender awards for the reconstruction of sections of Athlone Avenue and Warwick Street. A list of the roads included in the 2025 capital budget can be found at www.cityofwoodstock.ca/RoadMaintenance

The Woodstock Museum is highlighting the community’s Black history and celebrating African, Black and Caribbean owned businesses this month.

Woodstock – Future family doctors could receive a scholarship from the City of Woodstock to help fund their training. The City is offering five $1,000 scholarships for people currently enrolled in a medical school or family medicine residency program. The deadline to apply is Feb. 28.

Woodstock – In a release from MPP Ernie Hardeman’s office on Friday, the province announced that the City’s application to the Municipal Housing Infrastructure Program – Housing Enabling Core Servicing Stream (MHIP-HECS) was successful.
