Sloan to Headline Cowapolooza

Woodstock, ON – Canadian rock band Sloan will be headlining Cowapolooza, returning to Southside Park Aug. 16 – 17. The Juno award winning band is best known for hits including The Good in Everyone, Money City Maniacs, The Rest of My Life. Joining them for the Saturday evening concert is Kingston-based rock trio Kasador and Bueller, playing hits from the 90’s and 2000’s.

The event gets bigger and better each year and we’re proud to continue offering this free festival for everyone to enjoy,” said Kristen Brodhagen, Manager of Special Events for the City of Woodstock. “This year, we are thrilled to introduce a new theme on Friday evening - Cowapolooza Country. Whether you live in Woodstock or are visiting for the show, we are excited to welcome you to the Friendly City and celebrate the festival’s 21^st year!”

The two-day festival kicks off Friday, Aug. 16 at 6 p.m. Cowapolooza Country will feature a country music line-up, including:

• Headliners, River Town Saints, whose country music hits include A Little Bit Goes A Long Way, Cherry Bomb, She Got That and more.
• Elyse Saunders, who is a rising star best known for Never Have I Ever.
• Mike Robins Music - Mike Robins is a former member of country band Autumn Hill and is now branching into a solo career, best known for One Beer At A Time. 

Visitors can grab a bite to eat from the on-site food trucks and also have the option to enjoy the main stage music from the beverage garden.

Saturday’s Cowapolooza Kids runs from 2 – 6 p.m. featuring busker shows, face painters, balloon artist, inflatables, outdoor games and more.

The festival wraps up Saturday evening when Sloan and guests hit the stage from 6 – 10 p.m.
